Reporting in from a three-night stay in mid-September. Overall we were very happy with this property. We booked two nights on points (70k for base room) and one paid night for a King Molino suite. Checked in the app before check-in and saw that we were upgraded on both of the points nights to a King Molino suite so that we could stay in the same room for all three nights.
The suite is solid (forgot to take any pictures!) - massive bedroom, plus the living area, and a very nice bathroom. The view from our room wasn't great (mostly of an internal courtyard), but if you get lucky and get one with a view across the Guidecca canal then I'm sure it would be gorgeous. I think that the suites are generally in the corners of the buildings, which is a plus (our bedroom didn't share a wall with any other rooms). Housekeeping left a small tin of biscotti each day, which was a nice touch.
The exec lounge is a small area off the lobby - food/drink offerings were okay, and the space itself isn't the nicest lounge you'll see, though it does have a nice view of the canal. Breakfast is excellent - maybe the widest selection of any property I've stayed in, and the quality was good (and you can get American-style coffee! which was sorely appreciated for us Yanks after 10+ mornings of americanos).
The rooftop pool area is also great - between the beauty of the building and the view, it's hard to beat. When we were there, the protocol was to see the concierge in the morning to make a reservation for a 2-hour timeslot later that day, though that seemed a bit unnecessary since it was far from full when we went. There is a bar, with predictably extortionate prices (18 euro for a cocktail), and it's probably not worth visiting the pool if you have a day or two in Venice, but if you have a bit more time, it makes for a nice city-break.
Finally, as for location, which has divided posters upthread, I was a bit hesitant when booking, but it ended up being fine. It's a quick ride to get the main tourist areas; we just took vaporettos and never had to wait long for one (side note: since we never took the hotel shuttle, they didn't charge us the 15 euro/person/stay - also, for those driving to Venice like us, if you park in the Tronchetto garage, ask at check-out for the discount coupon; not well-publicized by the hotel, but gets you 20% off your parking!). And it was actually kind of nice to come back in the evenings to the calm of Guidecca after fighting the crush of tourists around San Marco/Rialto - we even decided to come back early and get dinner in Guidecca one night at a place by the vaporetto stop since prices were much better and the vibe was much more chill.
A great stay, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to those heading to Venice!
Great view from the pool!
