Following up with a few pics of the villa - the space is very nice, and we loved the size of the massive terrace, but I don't think it would usually be worth it to pay the premium for the villa.
The living area is comfy and spacious (the couch is massive!), especially if the Murphy bed is up. The 1-bedroom villa actually has two bathrooms, so if you have a larger group that could use both beds (the one in the bedroom and the Murphy bed) and bathrooms, it might make sense to go for the villa. But for just 2 people, the extra bed/bath wasn't worth much, and the actual main bedroom is a bit gloomy as it doesn't really have any windows, just a small light shaft.
And while the size of the terrace is great, it's a bit less private than would ideal as you can see/be seen from other terraces around (and potentially above) you. As with everywhere on the property, the views are killer, though slightly spoiled by the roofs of the beachfront villas in front of you.
All told, the villas are beautiful, but given the incredible views from every room on the property, if you're just a couple, I'd recommend going for one of the cheaper rooms (especially if you have status and have a shot at getting upgraded a category or two).
