Make a status match with Turkish Airlines - very easy and once you have completed the challenges it's very simple to requalify at least when you are prepared to fly one longhaul business class ticket every two years. status is granted for two years rather than one year.
The only catch is that LH P class (deep disciunt business) does not give any miles - but no problems with OS and LX.
In two weeks I'll even make Miles&Smiles Elite Plus after having completed PFL qualification.
100% earning fares in Y on longhaul TK are often only 100-200€ more expensive than 25% or 50% earning booking classes.
