I would recommend flying 5-10 consecutive AA domestic F flights yourself and decide based on the experience. Your experience will be route
specific, and only you can decide.
Personally, I’ll take AA over DL at the current times. If you pay for it, AA will offer you premium services that Delta can’t match such as sit down dinning and tarmac transfers via their five star select.
DL showed how cheap they were during COVID, and never really returned to their pre COVID levels.
