circling back to my own post to mention that I’ve reached out a 5th time to apply the SUA and they confirmed availability and said they were successfully able to apply it but I never received any sort of confirmation change email like I usually get with club access when I was an explorist. on another side note, I’m really frustrated with the inconsistencies in Hyatt customer service. I don’t think I should have to reach out 5 times to apply a SUA when it’s available. If I didn’t ask this forum, I would have never followed up, so a big thank you to this community.
You can message them on twitter to confirm and you'll have something in writing that way.
FWIW before I received a MHC I used to have them applied via twitter and it was always a seamless process. Granted, I don't use the platform anymore at all for other reasons...
