The problem here isn’t the low salary, it’s the low productivity (comparing to countries with higher wages on a PPP basis). Everyone can negotiate a higher salary, but all they are doing is contributing to the inflation unless they can produce and deliver more values to others.

Would higher salaries for pilots (or any AC staff) improve OTP, cleanness, call centre wait time, or anything else that may incentivize customers to fly more? If not, soon they may find they need another salary bump to keep up with fellow pilots in US.
