Stayed at the Marriott for one night last weekend as a stopover. Chose this over the Westin and others because I was arriving by train and departing by train which makes this property ideally located.
On day of arrival, saw in the app that the res was upgraded to the Bi Level suite. Upon arrival offered local gift or points. Quickly checked in and headed up to the 40th floor (same floor as the 40th floor.
Room enters into a kitchenette and a living room on the bottom floor. The kitchenette with burners don’t actually work. There is a sink and an empty mini fridge. There is also another mini fridge with a fully stocked minibar. Welcome amenity in the room consisted as fruits and some nuts. Stairs lead to the second level with a standard bathroom and the bedroom area with a king sized bed. I do have to say the beds are not very comfortable. A little lumpy. The rooms looked tired overall but had great views of the Warsaw “skyline”.
The executive lounge on the 2nd floor was large and nice as I remembered it. Afternoon happy hour had 2 hot items plus a soup and cold appetizers of sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. good enough for a light dinner. Open the whole day for drinks and such.
Breakfast was served in the 2nd floor restaurant. Relatively large spread of hot and cold items.
There was a large fitness center and gym in the basement along with an indoor pool.
Location was excellent for my purposes across the street from the central station.
