im not so sure.

im not a DL regular, so don’t know if my situation is anatomy or not, but recently, booked a trip for our family in Nov. Two of us booked directly through DL, two via Cap1 travel, same flight.

We got hit with a schedule change…not a big deal, 25 minutes, but was checking my options, just to see. The directly booked ticket allowed me to change +/- 1 day without a fare difference, and given this is the way back the Sat. after Thanksgiving, it is definitely a waiver since the fares Sunday are much higher than Sat.

however, the ticket booked via Cap1 told me, via DL.com, that I couldn’t change it online, and that if I booked through an agency, I would have to change via them. Didn’t really investigate that, as if I change, I’d want it to be to UA where the fares have come down to earth, but I doubt a cancelation (with a refund vs. credit) would’ve happened - definitely not within written policy.

im also not sure if other circumstances affected my (in-)ability to change directly, if anything, would be upgrading to C+ using DL.com using SlyPesos. So that could have caused an issue.

as to someone asking about canceling, I didn’t try that process, but I suspect if the Cap1 travel ticket was giving me issues with a change, it might have to try and cancel.
