I was just curious about difference of Flagship Business vs Business in international tickets because I was comparing prices on a DFW-ICN ticket in Feb 2024 on award vs nonaward ticket.
Nonaward (cash) business ticket for DFW-ICN ($12k!) marketed as Flagship Business;
Same exact route/flight, but searching on award/flight miles business ticket just marketed as business (99k flight miles for just that leg

)
There is no difference on the same flight. It's all based on location (international business is places like Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, northern South America, etc). AA just isn't clear about it. A business class flight from DFW-ICN will always be Flagship Business whether you pay in cash or miles.
