Worth noting that I think they have moved to a spend based system too. From my read of the program it looks like in a normal year each status tier is reached by every $5000 in airline/vacation bookings spend or every $50,000 in cobranded credit card spend. I suppose maybe it’s easier to hit that now with the availability of Europe flights though. I don’t know that I’d be able to fly them enough that it’s worth it for me to match, but I could see this be tempting for NYC and maybe BOS folks
