Delta guy here looking to switch to AA.
i submitted a request for status match and all they told me is that if it’s approved it will be a challenge that I’ll need to meet certain criteria to keep my status.
currently I’m Delta Gold and have the Reserve Card which gives me SkyClub access and a companion ticket.

i asked for a match to Platinum and would look to get either the Platinum Select credit card or the Executive. I fly out of TYS, so always connecting which makes the Executive appealing for the Admirals Club access.
I’d connect mainly via CLT and DFW, are there Admiral Clubs everywhere like Delta has SCs all over ATL, so you’re always close to your gates or do those airports not have as many Admiral Clubs, which would require a lot of layover time to be spent to and from the gate and lounge?

any idea on the requirements to keep platinum during the first 4 months of the status challenge? If I fall short, would they give me a lower tier status or would I have to request a match again?
