Greetings! I am looking to fly business class to Hawaii on AA next July / August with AA miles. Right now the seats (looking at ORD-DFW-HNL) are pricing out at a little over 100k each way. I vaguely recall that about 4-5 months ago, similar flights for July / August of this year had decent business class availability for closer to 50-55k miles each way, but I do not know if they started at a higher cost and then went down. Did AA simply double the cost of these flights for next year, or will they likely go down to that 50-55k price level next spring? This dynamic pricing is pretty confusing and makes it really hard to plan future travels especially with a whole family. Thanks for any insight.
