Um... Tangent question; where during the booking process can I find my estimated mileage earnings for any particular trip? I've got three trips to/through Germany slated for Jan/Feb so I figured it would be a good opportunity to give this a go. I'm basing my base miles on similar trips on DL and assuming Polaris would be a 50% multiplier in the right fare class. There are no "multipliers" when flying on a UA ticket or UA operated flight (which I assume you are, since you mention "Polaris"). You earn PQP (and award miles) on UA based solely on fare paid. The earnings are described on both the booking page and under "accruals" in your reservation.
The only time you'll encounter a "mulitplier" is if you're flying on a partner ticketed, partner operated flight, where PQP are calculated based on award miles.
