I had this same dilemma. Show up early or show up just on time.
Decided to show up early. if I show up early I get to hang out in the lounge. Then go to the resort and hang out there.
All we gonna do is just hang out for 5 days so might as well get started early than mess around with airport hotels and boat transfers to temporary hotel.
