The head purser kindly swapped my 15-year-old son up from J to an empty seat in F for the last 2 hours of a flight - spontaneously offered - I didn't ask. Suddenly, my son appeared. He was offered a shower, some chocolates and a drink. It was very kind and made me feel very kindly to EK, until I got an awful crew a couple of trips later !!
