There must be a thread somewhere? I tried to change a UA 016 ticket number changed to a SWISS ticket number in June, same situation. I made at least four different calls to the 1K Desk...got four different responses...no one could/ would do it. At one point an agent took so long to find out the protocol that I was afraid I was going to loose the booking altogether.

Is this a legitimate request? Reading the published FAQs about doing this there is nothing about needing to change a ticket number from UA to LH (or any other carrier)
Thanks. I have so many Plus Points that I wish I could convert them to miles or PQPs or something useful.
