We stay in SF 6-7 times a year for events. One night was we live about 245 minutes away. Pretty much any weekday I've looked at is high, with weekends being much lower. And this is across all Hyatts in SF (we've also used Kabuki, Fisherman's Wharf, Hyatt Place for events depending upon venue).
I've generally found SOMA and GH to be within about $2-3 of each other,with SOMA usually less. But it's a push on price and then just comes down to preference.
For weekend concerts, we pay cash and park at the Hearts parking on 3d (very convenient to SOMA). For weekday events, We just use points and the parking is covered as Globalist.
