Qualifying international**

**Except on flights operated by Alaska Airlines, access is not granted when flying from the United States to Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico. Departing or arriving flight must be the same day or before 6 a.m. the following day. Non-revenue passengers aren’t eligible.
Yeah, what you quoted is why I was confused. But I'm flying in from Mexico in this situation. On the flight down buying a ticket was cheap and it would have been 60k miles to just to be in coach, so I bought one way coach revenue tickets and know I won't have lounge access. And on the way back tickets were expensive but it was only 22.5k miles for first class so I got one way reward tickets for the return.
