Overall I think SGS is a better hotel than StR, but not everyone will agree with me.

Thanks for all the input. St R was on the edge of area I prefer, so not sure worth it overall. I fly out fairly early; much of the FHR/Hotel benefits wouldn't be ideal this time around.
Will likely just grab a room at my usual Le Meridien and find another use for the Amex Plat $200 credit.
FYI - I haven't seen SGS on either FHR or Hotel Collection results.
