What I love most about "the Fig" is that Globalist breakfast is entirely covered at Cafe Fig, which has a surprisingly impressive menu, great service, and a gorgeous aesthetic.

They also eliminated the 2 free espresso drinks per day from the lobby bar, despite the fact that their website still clearly shows it as an inclusion in the $30 destination fee (I’ve never paid that fee as a globalist, but they’ve always waived the coffees).
I'm heartbroken reading this, since indeed it was the Cafe Fig breakfast that made me look forward to DTLA business trips. Goodbye Croissant Sandwich, Chilaquiles, Açai Bowl, Breakfast Burrito, and even the Fried Chicken & Waffles I tried
once before realizing I can't eat that and still function during the work day. My husband and I will be adding to the chorus of complaints to the front desk the next time we have to be there.
