If you think you are an important customer to AC, then you take your (hopefully substantial) business elsewhere when you are unhappy. If you have no choice other than keep flying AC, then AC will not care about your opinions or frustrations. You think AC will do X, or AC should do Y, but AC did Z instead. Now what? Admitting that you made the wrong bet and learn from it is the first step.
We can vent our frustrations all day, but at the end of the day, what truly matters to you should be your own travel experience. Blame AC all you want, but if you end up flying AC next year and you aren’t happy with the diluted benefits, you will be the one who bear the disappointment. Instead of saying AC should have done X, Y, Z, why not do something to your travel patterns to make sure you can enjoy your upcoming travels? Fly a better competitor, or settle with the reality and year long trend that FF benefits are diminishing.
