Living here for 33 years I have things rather well figured out actually. I translate the signs from Japanese for my firm and when writing it in English I leave off the "next day" part. Have not had a single issue doing this in 3 decades so I treat it more like a horses for courses issue.
Same for translations of the rather silly 30 hour clock. I write it correctly as described in the post preceding this one. Again not a single issue in 3 decades.
