I even had Marriott customer service try and find the AmexMB rate for ANY hotel in a major metropolitan area on ANY date and they can’t find it.
I’ve seen an article by The Points Guy from July of 2022 that shows the AmexMB rate as an option in Rate Dropdown box. So, at one time this is how one searched for the rate — by selecting from that dropdown.
I THINK when I added the AMEX Bus card to my profile the Corp/Promo Code appeared as a selection, but, I’m not positive. If that is the case, is there a “code” that one needs to enter in the Corp/Promo Code option to search for the AmexMB rate? Or, perhaps I need to do…….?
As mentioned, this seems to be a great mystery to Marriott. I’m hoping there is a AmexMB card user here who can solve this.

The 7% Room Rate discount will be associated with your Member profile upon card approval. You can leverage this discount when logged in and booking directly on the Marriott website, Marriott Bonvoy® Mobile App, or contacting our Customer Engagement Centers.
If you do not see the 7% discount as an option on your profile, confirm you are logged in with your Marriott Bonvoy® number. During periods of high demand, the Rate may not be available for all Hotels.
