Comment: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL WITH FHR!! Hotel itself was good, but they had no idea what's FHR. Opened a global complaint case with AmEx travel and still waiting for their response after 3 weeks.
Extremely annoying when this kind of thing happens. Reminds me of a stay I had at the Belmond Madeira (Reid's Palace). Centurion card holders get an extra $200 credit. This was clear at booking and also mentioned in the welcome letter at check in. However at check out the front desk agent refused to acknowledge that such a thing existed (' Amex is always $100 credit') and ignored the welcome letter and reservation confirmation I showed him. I told him to check with the manager on duty and he came back with an 'offer' of $150 extra credit. I lodged a complaint later with Amex but I did not recieve the missing $50. Frustrating and it tainted the experience. Will not stay there again.
