Delta Platinum cancelled. There's really nothing for those of us who fly a moderate amount (GM) on expensive last minute tickets, and need an occasional place to work for a few hours and are happy to pay for it on a pay-per-use basis. No point in paying $250 for a companion cert that can rarely be used, and for a 3rd free bag and extra skypesos. Real question is whether getting the occasional upgrade on Delta is worth going out of my way on, or if I should be happy with the UA silver I get from Marriott.
