Air Asia also allows you to pool luggage, so if one person has 17kg and the other 23kg, it doesnt matter.
I also have not encountered any issues with being a couple kilos overweight, while having the opposite experience on MH, which not only did not allow pooling, were strict about 20kg, and their fares are just as bad in including nothinh as Air Asia.
