Hotel: Vogue Hotel Montreal (Hilton Curio collection)
Room Booked: King
Early Check-in: Yes - 2pm
Late Checkout: Yes - 4pm
Upgrade: No. Hotel fully booked due to Montreal marathon and fashion week.
$100 Food & Beverage Credit: CAD 126 for all related hotel services.
Breakfast: CAD 75.60 per room. This means if service charge, tip or tax put you over you’re out of pocket unless you have the USD100 FHR credit available.
Comment: It's a bit frustrating that AMEX advertises "breakfast for 2...varies by property" but in reality there are these credit limitations. Does anyone know how to find out the credit limitation at the time of booking? It is not exactly transparent.
The breakfast is expensive and you will almost always hit the limit due to 15% tax. Room service incurs an additional charge plus automatic tip. These extra costs can come out of the CAD126.
You can have breakfast at Yama, Cafe Bazin or Room Service until 3PM on Saturday and Sunday, and 11am on weekdays. Menus here: https://www.voguehotelmontrealqrcode.com/pages/
HH Gold benefits not really recognized here. Focus was more on FHR. There were a lot of FHR guests.
FHR bookers received as a thank you a fancy bottle of Dead Sea Salt.
if you’re looking to use up the CAD126 cafe basin sells branded apron, tshirt, sweatshirt, hats, honey, maple syrup, tea in metal tin, and a bunch of small takeaway food item and drinks.
The Four Seasons is across the street. Wanted to check that out but the 3-for-2 was sold out for my stay.
