Lately when trying to book flights to Europe it shows a lot of Economy comfort seats available when choosing the flights, but when it changes to the booking and choosing my seat site, most seats no longer are available.
This happens only on the flights to Europe, not for flights returning. It does not appear to be an issue where they block rows off, as only certain (although a lot) seats show available when choosing the flight. Also not an apparent issue of eligibility as Economy comfort seats do show once it comes to the choosing hte seat site, but it is single seats spread throughout the cabin, which is useless for our party of 4.
Also does not seem to be an issue of a specific flight, have tried many different flights and days, and it happens to all going to Europe, but flights returnign from Europe are as usual- the available seats that show on line are the same that show available when it goes to the choosing the seats site. Also tried booking a Economy different category, did not change a thing. Premier desk was unhelpful as the seat availability they can see is the same as the one I can see after having chosen the flights, so they can't tell me why those seats show available when browsing for flights..
This is super frustrating as we book our flights according to seat availability, so to have to go through the motion of attempt booking to understand the actual seat availability is more than cumbersome. More so I would like to understand the pattern why I can't get those seats and what I need to do in order to get them?
