I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with gettng BA to recognize their OW Staus from Alaska Airlines. I purchased a BA ticket on BA metal earlier in the year before I had status and entered my AS frequent flyer number. I have since became a 75K gold (OWE). When I look at my BA booking, it does not show my status. If I try to reserve a seat, it wants to charge me. I called BA reservations to inquire if they could see my status, which they could not. I asked them to reenter my FF number to see if that would refresh my reservation and show my status. This did not work The reservation agent called another department and they said wait a month to see if my status changed. I have already been a OWE for 3 months thru Alaska. Another data point. I booked a different frequent flyer ticket thru Alaska on British Airways. My status did not show up but when I called BA reservation, the agent was able to look up my status and allow me to reserve seats. Any idea's on how to get BA to recognize my Alaska Airlines OWE status on a reservation?
