I’m currently using the MQD waver. Without the waiver my MQDs will likely fall between 12-15k next year if I don’t pay for any upgrades. Since I really value C+ upgrades on booking and SC access, what I need to decide is how I’m going to get to 18k and maintain PM, plus maintain SC.

Your CSR advice is interesting. I should estimate how many BID SMs I’ll earn from next year. If it’s enough to pay for SC membership plus a couple of thousand MQDs worth of seat upgrades, I could ditch AMEX, book all my personal DL travel via the Chase portal, and then get to PM though a combination of that travel plus my SM seat upgrades.
