I just did a search and there is a Supercharger on the I-45 access road about five miles from IAH. There are also two of them within five miles of LGA just off of the highway.
The superchargers in NYC are mostly in paid parking lots and the 2 in Queens close to LGA are attached to shopping centers in paid parkades. It probably doesn't make sense to rent an EV (Tesla or non-Tesla) if you're not getting out of the city and do not have access to a free-to-park charging station or supercharger.
