recently flew this route; caviar was available both ways. i had just left MCT on oman first and had it there, plus a ton of other food - didn't end up having it BKK-HKG but it was on the menu. i figured i'd try the shower and bar... watched a movie and ended up trying neither.

but surely i will hit up both on the way back! HKG-BKK... service was in a rush, but i (barely) got in to trying out the shower to tick that box off they closed the bar while i was in it. there was a good chunk of time between getting in the air and first getting any food (i was in 4A) so would recommend to anyone trying to tick off those boxes to do the shower and visit the bar before food service. at least on this flight i would have easily had ample time to do both.
