I thought IAD was one of the more successful North American destinations for EK. Why down gauge to 777? Unless they are planning to overhaul many A380s during this period ..

Also, at minimum I expected them to exclusively fly Gamechanger 777 as they did during the pandemic (the last time IAD was down gauged).
