Saw an article about devaluation of Avios reward flights on JAL and Cathay...and this spurs a question, how does one in any case a) view and b) book Avios flights on these 2 airlines...??

The article pointed out that to get around the relative paucity of BA reward flights direct to HKG or TYO, book to BJS or PVG and then pick up a reward flights on JAL or Cathay.

Good idea, should have thought about this...and I would like to go back to Japan next year...

Sometimes you can see reward availability via the BA website, but it seems pretty creaky. Qatar allow you to select reward flights on their website, but they seem more plugged in to BA.

How do I go about this on Cathay or JAL...??
