M&M is overall not a particularly rewarding program, though the same can be said about UA these days as well. Free agency is increasingly the correct answer IMO.

That's the nagging question that probably prompted me to ask. I'd have to model it out to see how bonuses work. What little domestic I do fly, it's paid first because it's a segment connected to paid D1... I'm always good for PM on DL, but some years with the credit card spend I'll hit DM and get their global upgrade certificates, but it's been a few years due to covid.
Like Kacee alluded to though, if I'm going to pay does it matter to status match really?
