If this is true, it goes some way to proving what I say: professionalism and service level is connected not purely to hourly pay rate, but to culture - and I mean culture on several different levels. MUC is AFAIK (even) more expensive to live in than FRA, so you would expect the staff to be even worse in MUC because even fewer people in MUC will accept these terribly paid jobs. Instead, they’re better. There could be many reasons for that: positive attitude, workplace stability, a history of doing it right, Bavaria first (!)... Maybe there is a tradition of working well there for some time and then going onto a better paid job because people have heard about the tradition of good work in the FCL MUC.... One way or another, the bigger picture has to be right. Otherwise you are only left with minimum wage salaries, high rents and high costs, and then you have the FCT FRA situation as it is. No English spoken at an international airport?!?! Even the cleaners and Fraport baggage cart guys can get that far...
