This turned out to be not a good choice but pacta sunt servanda so no walking away. They have shown Kaefer over and over again that MUC does much better for about the same money.
Nota bene: this is my read of the discussions I had with LH and was not explicitly confirmed by anyone.
Your being kind to the LH people who gave Kaefer the contract, if it really was about the same 💰 who in their right mind would not use the tried and trusted Gate Gourmet who do such a great job at MUC.
Add to that, there is no consistency now in FCL service, MUC & FRA is like being on different airlines
