Agree with others, provided it's on the same ticket (so if you are late into AKL Air NZ will have to look after you). Stacks of time.
Easy to transfer from the jet end of the terminal to the regional end, even if you do accidentally wander out landside down at the extreme western end of the terminal (the Jetstar end) rather than in the middle. Regional flights all depart from the eastern end of the terminal; if you pop out in the middle, just hang a right past the baggage carousels and wander down, won't take more than a couple of minutes. Air NZ's regional lounge is down there too. There's no security for regional flights (Q300s and ATRs) like there is for jet.
