Back in my youth, 1992 maybe, family flew a direct EWR-MCI-DEN on Co. Flight 246. In MCI we were allowed to stay on the plane, only if we did deboard, we couldn’t reboard until boarding began. In the old paper booklet schedule, these flights were listed as 1 or 2 stops (this one being 1 stop). A change of aircraft notes as “C” for Connect.

Ironically, our DEN-ABQ flight was on the same plane, however a different flight number.
