Lufthansa invited me to another call and shared some insights as to what they are trying to do and where their own ability to influence change is limited.
One point they made is that all new hires require to undergo safety checks and clearance before they can work in any lounge. This process still takes months and is the biggest obstacle for new quality hires that have not worked at the airport before.
There seems to be some disappointment and frustration that Kaefer isn’t really willing to learn from information that is shared with them on what makes Munich a much better and more compelling lounge offering.
