What's frustrating is that you can't see it when good cash UG offers are made available unless you remove your PPs. Two weeks ago, my business associate and I were checked-in and waiting at the NH club in Haneda, when he looks at his phone and sees a $599- UG to Polaris offer. He was just planning to stay in Y to save money, but I would've taken it. I called UA to see about me buying-up and removing my PPs and they said that they'd already sold the 3 available seats and that there were none left. I tried again with the gate agent with no luck. Needless to say, my PPs never cleared.
