As long as the final flight of the BAH and all elements (car hire/hotel bookings) conclude before the 8th (ie on the 7th) then the Tier Points will be for the current year at the time of travel as opposed to at the time of award.
It’s possible they do credit after the 8th and do not automatically credit to the previous/current year and you’ll have to call the Silver/Gold line and explain the situation and they’ll request the back office team to manually credit the tier points to the previous year, requalifing you.
