If the return flight was Sunday then by tomorrow morning that flight comes under Airport Control, which means that BA can handle the booking. Restoring the length of stay is usually OK. What I would do now is call BA on the Change Reservation number and see if they will do it tonight anyway, though strictly speaking it is a Trailfinders issue until tomorrow.
