This morning at Quebec City. We checked our luggage and stayed in the lounge longer than usual. So arriving at the gate, while Zone 1+2 line was still long and boarding mostly Z 2, they were already boarding in the other line. And that other line somehow seemed to move faster.

Then a woman who in the zone 1+2 line got stuck with the agent. Agent got her to size her luggage. Then there was a five minute conversation while the otherlne kept moving. Eventually the woman was sent back, probably to check her bag. We later saw her boarding very last.

This business of (1) Zone 1 having to wait with Zone 2 when Z 2 is called and (2) starting Z3-6 while there are people in the Z1/2 line is just nonsense. They could easily have had both agents pull people only from Z1+2.

We ended up the last to board the front cabin. Still found bin space for my backpack. So at the endof the day, no big dea. Just your usual AC inconsistency.
