Last time I approached on the Cote-de-Liesse, I was in heavy traffic for a half-hour, which I'd never seen before in that spot. It made a bit more sense when I realized it grand-prix weekend, but it still felt excessive. You also have the option of Cardinal, from the sources/20 side, which is probably easier to get to the parking lots from.
