I know gin is in vogue, but to have Tanqueray and Gordons, they have a similar make up of botanicals. If you are going to have 3 different ones, then at least make sure that they re 3 very contrasting ones and have a decent tonic that doesn't overpower. A nice rhubarb gin with a ginger beer goes down well. Well with a good ginger beer...

Because of the double distillation of cognac, a tiny amount of caramel is often added to replace the lost colour from the second distillation. Come on BA, bring back the brandy.
Hear! Hear!

Now I've not flown BA for about weeks and I usually drink Champagne - but I could have sworn that they were serving Fever Tree tonic to Him Indoors? I am not a tonic fanatic - I usually buy Schweppes as the price difference is ridiculous. My husband's favourite gin is Beefeater. Mine is Bombay Sapphire. Tanqueray is a pleasant second. Taquila I have to be in the mood for - I am not a great cocktail drinker (for me a cocktail is a beverage containing more that one alcohol. G&T is a mixed drink) and all that sweet much including that Desert Substitute Baileys with all that cream (ugh!) and the Scottish insult to drinkers Drambuie are best placed at the Jubilee party of some elderly nun in some cloistered convent.
