It's surely a big draw for LOT that they offer their lounge employees the same benefits their flying crew receive.
With tips, won't the staff earn better in a busy downtown restaurant? Someone serving up a defrosted burger and fries in the Squaire Hilton earns more...oh and come to mention it, staff benefits to boot

LLS (previously owned by LSG now gategourmet) never had flying benefits for their lounge staff, they get ID/AD tickets just like anyone working in the travel industry. The same goes for Do&Co as well as Käfer. The service staff in the FCL MUC get 17€/h via a temp agency called UCM (ucastme), my friends daughter was offered the job when she signed up there and indicated that she speaks French and English. Assuming UCM takes a cut, its not much more than the 15€ my son gets for temp work in his schools canteen.
Käfer continues to look for staff in FRA:
