Travelling JAL in J from BKK to KIX this weekend.
BKK has a range of lounges but which one is best that I can access?
Would I be able to access QR lounge given I am travelling in J, or do I settle for contract/OW lounge? Ideally just to shower/eat and conk out to sleep on the 5hr flight...
JAL has a Sakura lounge there, it is OK but nothing spectacular. This is the lounge JAL will direct you to.
I think the Cathay lounge has reopened, but I am not sure. It is in concourse G, so can be a bit of a trek.
The Qatar lounge is mainly open to match their own flight times, and capacity will be prioritised for their own pax, but yes you can access it with a J ticket if it is open to match your flight time.
