Probably doesn't mean anything but my guess is they choose OW because it has both Business and First Class lounges at TBIT. Also, probably to keep its passengers away from BR and CI travelers using the Star and KE lounges.
Yes, JX uses the oneworld lounge operated by Qanta. However, those in paid First Class have access to the check in facility at the PS Salon or Suite in LAX.
