I would be very surprised if BA orders new planes for Gatwick and installs the old CW seats instead of the new CS. Yes, CW may be best for the Gatwick fleet, but they can't be around forever and eventually would have to give them up.
Of course you are correct the CS will eventually find its way on to Gatwick fleet when the current aircraft are replaced. However there is still a decent amount of life in the current 777,s and the eventual upgrade, wether that be ex LHR 78,s or new deliveries could be a ways off.
